This is a poster I designed for the Logan, Ut film, art, and music festival, The Block Festival.
The principles I focused on the most in this design were alignment, contrast, and repetition. Everything is aligned with other aspects of the design and I tried to make sure everything was weighted properly. There is good color contrast and the typography displays the message in a visually appealing way.
The tools I used to design this were all in photoshop. Mostly the type tool, shape tool, and the pen tool.
